I was staring at my door the other day and it really needed a little spring decor. Living at an apartment complex, their is only so much we can do to decorate our home outside. Today, I’ll show you how I make a spring wreath.
Foam Wreath base
Hot Glue Gun
Fun Scrapbook Paper
Heat up your glue gun and glue one end of the ribbon and just start wrapping.
I had enough to wrap almost the whole base and make a long bow.
Next is paper time. Since I do live in an apartment building, my door is covered from rain. If you want to make this for an outside door, try another material like felt or maybe even thin pieces of cork. That’d be cute!
Cut your white paper into thin strips and find a circle for a stencil on the flower part.
Next, cut your circle 8 times like this.
Fold up each side of the paper to give it texture.
Roll your white strips for the center of the flower and glue to seal. Glue all pieces together and you have a pretty paper flower.
Attach them and hang with a string!
