So, I mentioned that I am not new to the whole 'blogging thing'. I have actually been reading and writing on a blog for over 3 years now. Breezy Cheetah is just my first venture on my own and I'm totally digging it! Hope you are, too!
I have lots of blogs that I look at daily for inspiration. Some are close friends and some are people I have never met but feel like we're friends- weird, right? That's why this world is so fun- you can share ideas and get so inspired without even really realizing it. With that being said, I want you to be inspired by some of my friends (yes, friends in real life) that I follow and look to for inspiration:
First and foremost, I have to put in a HUGE mention for The Real Postgrads of SC. This site was started by 11 college friends that wanted to feel like they still all lived together out of college. Some have gotten fancy jobs, some have gotten pets, and SOME have gotten married. These southern girls have style and great taste. It truly has been one of my favorite things I've been a part of and this blog just bursts with our friendship and personalities. Introducing.. my friends, The Real Postgrads.
Next on my list is one of my Myrtle Beach friends-Lillian Charles. This girly has traveled the world and has an impeccable fashion sense. It's just wonderful and makes me happy. On Wardrobes by Lillian Charles, she blogs about her style, others style and actually has the option of helping you with YOUR wardrobe. Just genius if I say so myself.
My next chica is a gal pal from Clemson. We used to call her Boca actually! Megan has created the cutest little blog called Passports and Pancakes which is a new little site just like mine. Good luck girl- your photography class is really paying off!
My last friendis super crafty. We were in marketing together at Clemson and both had that creative outlet going for us. She makes the cutest DIY crafts and just a regular Martha Stewart. So inspiring Megan! Megan Brooke Handmade
Yeah, I know you like my blog crushes but it's okay.. I'll share:)
I've been testing eye liner left and right as of lately. With pale skin and blonde eye lashes.. I need all the help I can get in the winter! I can't leave the house without liner and mascara because I get "Bree- Are you feeling okay?" It sucks people think you are sick when you're pale. HA
If you want to give liner a shot, here are a few drug store options I like. Maybe one day I'll venture to the Chanel/Dior side:)
This is my tried and true. I've used this for quite awhile before I decided to start testing. It has a sort of paint brush wand instead of felt tip and looks like patent leather when it go on.
Verdict: A little severe and hard to get off (maybe I shouldn't by waterproof) but stays on all day long. A good buy.
Verdict: It fades throughout the day making me reapply incase after work drinks initiate. Next option.
3. Victoria's Secret
While I was in the store getting my Free Panty the other day (I have like 15 of these coupons- where did they all come from and why can't I get them ALL at the same time!?!) I started looking at the checkout girl's eye liner. Being 'that girl' I asked "where did you get your eye liner, it's fabulous!" She was a great sales person because she pointed to the makeup counter behind me and said "Try the Victoria's Secret line- it's good". SOLD. Can't believe it was that easy. ha
Verdict: My favorite. Felt tip helps make perfect lines and stays on all day long. My pick!
Maybe I'll test out colored eye liner next.. thoughts!?
On TV, they say 1 in 5 relationships start on dating sites these days. What is the guy's perspective on sites like Match.com or eHarmony?
"Because a Girl should Sparkle every Darn Day of the Year!"
